A front man for the Uruzgan governor, Ahmad Shah Sahil, told media that Taliban faceless myrmidons attacked security checkpoints in the Dehrawud district last night, prompting a retaliatory attack by security forces.
He indicated, 17 Taliban including the holy warrior’s deputy commander was killed and six others were maimed in the attack.
