Texas Congressman Matt Patrick Stunning Claim, Supreme Court Chief Justice Worried About Riots
2020-12-18
[The Last Refuge] During the Texas presidential electors legislative session there was a debate over an amendment to wording where the Texas House would rebuke the Supreme Court of the United States for "moral cowardice" in not allowing the Texas challenge to be heard.

During the amendment debate Texas Congressman Matt Patrick (CD-32) put into the ¹record a report from a claimed "Supreme Court staffer" about an internal debate taking place within the high court where justices were arguing the reasons for not allowing the Texas election challenge to take place. As outlined by Patrick Chief Justice Roberts was worried about riots in the streets if the court heard the Texas arguments and evidence.

#14  Don't know if this is true or not.

What I know is true is that the SC has chosen war.

#13  Look, whatever evidence there may be, the central fact is that we have about 6,000 or so elite individuals in this country - across both parties' professionals, top editors and publishers and broadcast execs, and Big Tech and Wall Street and other corporate CEOs, and judges and top officials in the federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies - who were hell-bent on ejecting Orange Nosferatu from the White House.

They told us so. They wiretapped him and lied about it. They fabricated garbage about him and lied about it. They hounded and persecuted his people, refusing to stop even when the government itself withdrew the case. They went on the airwaves and bleated outlandish lies about him, 24/7, for four years. They impeached him on made-up charges. And then they suppressed a mountain of hard evidence implicating his opponent in every single charge they'd falsely accused the OrangeMan of.

At this point it simply doesn't matter what Roberts might have said or not said in a private conversation. He's one of the 6,000 who have made a joke of our democracy. He does not deserve our defense or support.

And if he isn't careful, he and the other elites will find they don't have our compliance either. It's coming, soon.

#12  Do you want riots from a ragtag gang of anarchists or 75-80 million pissed-off voters?

That said, that should not be the concern of SCOTUS. If they are intimidated by Antifa or BLM, they should not be sitting on the Court. We don't need the faint of heart sitting on the bench who can be manipulated by a bunch of street thugs.

#11  Defer to violence. Great plan.

Whatever they have on Roberts, can we figure out what it is and use it against him as well?

#10  I also doubt the authenticity of the overheard report.

If true however Roberts should be pressured to step down. The Supreme Court can't let the mob veto the Constitution. What happens beyond the very strict confines of Constitutional legalities is beyond their concern. Maybe warn the authorities a day or so before passing judgement likely to cause riots would be the closest they should ever come to non-constitutional concerns.

#8  This year one side has demonstrated both capability and intent to unleash at least economically devastating violence and to forcibly disband the constitutional and legals system of the US.

The other side's capability hasn't been demonstrated and other side is taking pride in the intent to remain peaceful.

To preserve the peace the courts had to side with the mostly peaceful faction. Which they did.

That's all there is to it.

#6  I agree it seems (a little bit) unlikely, if believable, but the opinion cited in #4 concludes with - the effort to undo the election is fundamentally a mob action

Just speaking for myself, I just want to have the illegal votes disqualified and the cheaters punished.

If that makes me a member of a "mob", I'm glad to be part of it.

#5  ^ now there's a reliable source. Someone who calls himself "Allah" and substitutes insults for logical argument

#4  the story is an obvious lie for the simple reason that the justices haven’t met in person in months To believe that some conveniently unnamed staffer heard John Roberts chewing out Alito and Thomas through the walls of the Court building, you have to believe that someone in an adjoining room was dialed into a conference call or Zoom chat among the justices (and why would they be?) and had the audio on their device turned waaaaaaaaay up..

#3  Wait till he sees what happens in a civil war. Rioting as we have seen will be the least destructive results.

#1  Of course. Not shocking at all -- this was widely reported material FACT.

Every major city's police force expected left-wing riots on Election Night. Downtown merchants made a run in plywood for backing up their shop windows. Mayors warned merchants to brace for impact.

Antifa and BLM flyers went up in multiple cities' downtown areas promising to "Burn it down if Biden's not elected."

Given the weakness and cowardice Roberts has shown, it's totally plausible that he has influenced the liberals and is trying to influence the new Justice and mom of kids from Haiti to avoid any decision that might ignite still more political violence.

IOW the mob now has veto power over our political and juridical systems.

How much longer will the normies tolerate this situation?

If the courts are cowed by these thugs, what remedy is left?
