| [ToloNews] An Afghan National Police (ANP) officer was killed and two more maimed after their vehicle hit a roadside kaboom in Jalalabad city, the center of Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province, local officials confirmed on Sunday. The incident happened in PD1 of the city. This comes after Kabul also witnessed a deadly car kaboom on Sunday that killed at least 9 people and maimed 20 more. No group or individual has so far grabbed credit for either attack. |
