Suicide Bomber Targets Funeral Ceremony in Paghman, Killing 1
[KhaamaPress] At least one person was killed in a suicide kaboom incident in Paghman district of Kabul province on Monday.

Ferdaws Faramarz, a front man to Kabul Police HQ, told Khaama press that the incident occurred when a jacket wallah detonated his explosive vest out side Bolsan Mosque in the Bolsan village.

One civilian was killed, as the bomber detonated his explosive vest during the Fatiha (a ritual ceremony often after the funeral).

Media reports the incident happened at around 2 p.m. local time.

The incident is still under the police investigation.

No group or individual have yet grabbed credit for the attack.

2 Injured in Kabul Magnetic Bomb Blast
[KhaamaPress] At least two people were maimed in a magnetic IED explosion in Kabul city Monday morning, Kabul police confirmed.

The incident occurred at around 10:15 a.m. in Mahbas square in PD12 of Kabul province.

A civilian and a Security force member were maimed in a magnetic blast targeting a Ranger type vehicle, ANP stated.

No group or individual has so far grabbed credit for the attack.

The city is rattled with the lasted string of explosions as magnetic IED explosions increase in the capital and other regions of Afghanistan.

Such insurgency attacks have increased concerns among the public, and have reduced confidence in police reconnaissance.

Death Toll of Sunday’s Attack on MP Rises to 10
[ToloNews] First Vice President Amrullah Saleh on Monday said that at least 10 people were killed and 52 others were maimed in Sunday’s car kaboom on the convoy of an Afghan MP in Kabul.

"Only six of the maimed remained at the hospital and most of them have been discharged," Saleh said.

On Sunday, a boom-mobile targeted the vehicle of Haji Khan Mohammad Wardak, a member of parliament from Kabul. Wardak survived the attack.

The explosion happened in Spin Kalay square in PD5 of the city while the convoy of MP Wardak was passing the area, according to the officials.

The explosion damaged several cars and nearby houses.
