province, said the Ministry of Defense in a statement Thursday.
"A car loaded with kabooms was seized by #ANA in Laghman province last night," said the MoD in a tweet.
According to the statement, the explosives materials were planned to be transformed in to various kind of explosives, targeting civilians and security forces across the country.
"The kabooms were going to be used in making bombs and IEDs for #Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...’s terrorist activities," the tweet added.
Taliban did not comment on the incident immediately.
