Day 3: In Nashville Bombing, Suspect's Father and AT&T Building May Be Key Clues
2020-12-27
Moved to Page 1: WoT and Home Front: WoT so it will be filed with the other article on the subject. We are getting close to the point where the story may be moved to Lurid Crime Tales on Page 3, but we are not yet quite there.
[Newsweek] Records show the Nashville bombing suspect's late father worked for BellSouth, a telecommunications company that merged into AT&T in 2006, before his death in July 2011 at age 78. The blast on Christmas morning detonated outside an AT&T building, injuring three people and causing service outages that have affected customers and 911 operations.

Two senior law enforcement officials who have seen the investigation reports confirmed to Newsweek on Saturday that federal investigators were searching the home of Anthony Quinn Warner, 63, who's considered a suspect in connection with the December 25 bombing. The officials requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak about the case on the record.

A LexisNexis report on Anthony Warner, obtained by Newsweek, showed that he was born in January 1957, is 63 years old, located at 3724 Bakerton Road and 115 Bakertown Road in Nashville—the address authorities began searching on Saturday. The report listed Charles B. Warner and Steven L. Warner as potential relatives of the suspect, and an obit on The Tennessean confirmed that Charles Warner was survived by his sons, Steve and Tony Warner.

A separate LexisNexis report on Warner's father, obtained by Newsweek, showed that a Charles B. Warner worked at BellSouth before his death on July 5, 2011. Two of the three email addresses listed under Warner's father were also connected to BellSouth.

#11  FBI solves another one! Wow, what an organization. Maybe now they can get back to Hunter Biden's laptop, the one they've had for a year.

#8   Warner held an explosives permit from 1993 to 1998.

According to my anonymous sources, top federal investigators have drawn links from Warner to an apparent front company Warner Bros. and from there to a known wolf, Wile E. Coyote, and finally to that international supplier of explosives and engines of destruction, the Acme Corporation. Wheels within wheels, people.

#7   May have been some linkages of the bombing site with SolarWinds at one time. Someone else posted on this yesterday.

#5  More importantly: How much do you rely on internet / cell phone? Time to invest in ham radio gear? No, they are going to shut that down.

The Postman, anyone?

Searching for evidence or planting evidence (cynical}. {If the 7th floor people who took part in the coup were prosecuted, there might be a whole lot more trust and less sarcasm and cynicism.)

#3  Cell / Internet still down here in Manchester, TN (SE of Nashville)

At least it gives me the impetus of getting rid of AT&T for good.

#2  Is no fly zone still in effect?
Is cell service still down or spotty?
Is internet access still down or spotty?
Are restrictions over and above COVID lockdown stuff in effect?

I'd say Mission Accomplished, as test runs go...
