2021-01-27
[Heavy] The rapper from Atlanta, Georgia, allegedly died from suicide, according to Heavy.com.

WorldStarHipHop also tweeted about his apparent suicide.

They wrote: "According to several reports, underground rapper #6Dogs has passed away due to suicide. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends."

In a previous interview, 6 Dogs said he started rapping as an outlet because he was "super depressed."

He said: "I was super depressed, you know, I still feel some type of way sometimes but for the most part I'm straight now, but I just needed an outlet.

#10  By design, people are non travellers "i'm safe here, know what is about, geographically, and socially, an object at rest, usually stays at rest unless acted upon by an outside force."

#7  Most people didn't wander more than 20 miles from where they were born.

For what it's worth, I'm familiar with this on a small scale. I'm involved with my high school reunions as CIO, so I go try and find everybody. From a class of about 440 classmates, my rough estimate is that 75% to 80% still live within 40 miles of the hometown. A few of them move south each year.

#5  Wonder how many today could live for long in the 19th Century. Most people didn't wander more than 20 miles from where they were born. Small towns with out electricity to provide entertainment other than what you made yourself. Things moved slow. No instant jolt of self gratification stimulation.

#4  Suicides are up across the board, especially among teenagers.

I understand it can be tough to have sympathy for a guy whose stage name better pairs with a craft beer, and a vocation notorious for glorifying drugs and violence. But...

If performance is what was keeping this guy going, then concerts and gatherings get banned, entertainment venues in general shuttered, he would have not had his reason to be anymore. Feeling good, getting notice by the next level people, smelling the good life cooking.

And that isn't any different than the Minnesota Pottery Club entertainment venue in the other article, and that owner's life ruined.

#2  Tragedy when a person hopelessly despaired, depressed takes the turn to suicide. My prayer turns to the family, may they find peace in the coming days as they try to understand his passing. May the Lord Bless his Family.
