| James Tour: The Mystery of the Origin of Life |

| [YouTube] Dr. Tour is one of the world’s top synthetic organic chemists. He has authored 680 scientific publications and holds more than 120 patents (here is a partial list). In 2014, Thomson Reuters named him one of “The World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds,” and in 2018 Clarivate Analytics recognized him as one of the world’s most highly cited researchers. Tour is also fearless. He joined more than a thousand other scientists in signing the “Scientific Dissent from Darwinism.” More recently, he has become a thorn in the side of the origin of life research community, offering blunt assessments of the current state of origin of life research. | #4 Don't have any idea about science or how it works. I continue to pray for the sick and for widows and orphans. Beyond that, most outcomes are far beyond my control. I'm on the short end of the string of life, a speck in time and figure I must leave a little something for those left behind, if I am able. It's soon all to be passed off to the young ones, whom I pray for also. |

| #2 Scientific Dissent from Darwinism The theory of evolution - to use the correct term, doesn't deal with origin of life. Which is a mystery right now No intermediate stages between organic Theory of evolution deals with that happens once such organisms: capable of replicating themselves with mistakes; exists. In a nutshell, evolution is a sequence of cycles of variation followed by selection among variants. Periodically, some famous physicist (or in this case, organic chemist) publishes a book that "disproves" evolution - their simple minds are uncapable of grasping the idea of selection. To summarize, just because we currently don't understand how life started, doesn't mean that any religious teachings (and there are so many, and so variant) are true. You want to believe - just f*cking believe. And leave me alone - or I'll kill you. |

| #1 There are a trillion stars in a typical galaxy and a trillion galaxies. There is one known planet with intelligent life in our galaxy. So life is possible. There must be a physical basis for life. But this guy is saying that because we can't figure out exactly how life arose we must conclude that magic was involved. |
