A Mexican National Guard patrol seized vehicles and weapons on a remote road in the municipality of Mezquital, according to a news account found on the website of El Siglo de Durango.The unit was performing a routine task, when it came upon two trucks parked on the side of the road.
Included in the seizure were two rifles, including a .50 caliber semiautomatic rifle, weapons magazines and tactical gear.
One of the vehicles was reportedly stolen in Michoacan state.
