The Khalistan movement wants to establish a separate homeland in Indian Punjab, to which end they take Pakistan’s funds and training. Like the IRA, they also get substantial support and funding from Sikh expat communities around the world, who love the idea of the folks they left behind murdering their neighbours before dying romantically for a hopeless idea. [OneIndia] The agencies have been speaking about an outside hand that is desperately looking to fan violence amidst the farmer protests.Repeated statements are being made by pro-Khalistan elements from countries such as Canada and the United Kingdom on the farmer protests. The government has even asked Twitter to suspend accounts that are putting out such content which threatens national security. Since the past decade the Intelligence agencies have been warning that there are desperate attempts being made by the ISI to push the Khalistanis and revive terror in Punjab. |
