Ex-CIA chief releases new theory on JFK assassination |
2021-02-24 |
The new book, seen by The New York Post, claims that Lee Harvey Oswald was instructed by Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev to assassinate President Kennedy. According to the newspaper, the book says the Soviets later changed their minds about the assassination but that Oswald refused to stand down and went through with the plan as initially instructed. The new book by R James Woolsey and Lt Gen Ion Mihai Pacepa is titled Operation Dragon: Inside The Kremlin’s Secret War on America and is set to be released in March. Mr Woolsey, a former director of central intelligence, ran the CIA from 1993 to 1995 while Mr Pacepa, a former Romanian acting spy chief, was granted political asylum in the US in 1978 and died earlier this month. |

#5 Nah, Oswald's beef was with Texas Gov. John Connally, and Oswald missed. I fergit the beef, but it was credible. |

#4 So if there was this directive by the USSR, why did Oswald try kill retired Major General Edwin Walker in May 1963? Would that draw unwanted attention to him? |

#3 Yeah, sure. Old Nikita personally instructed Oswald. Well, maybe considering the way LBJ ruined the country. But my favorite suspect remains LBJ and the military/industrial complex, now known as the Deep State. People who are not averse to rigging an election would not hesitate to murder a guy like JFK either. |

#1 ...My fave Kennedy assassination conspiracy theory is still that one of the Secret Service guys accidentally fired the head shot while trying to secure the limo. My Dad always used to make the point that the number of truly historical conspiracies that 100% succeeded can probably be counted on one hand - but the number of botched conspiracies approaches an infinite value.
