Texas Lifts All COVID Restrictions March 10
2021-03-03
[the post millennial] “So today," he said, "I'm issuing an executive order that rescinds most of the earlier executive orders."

"Effective next Wednesday, all businesses of any type are allowed to open 100 percent," Abbot proclaimed. "That includes any type of entity in Texas."

"Also, I am ending the state-wide mask mandate."
Hat tip to Mrs. Bobby, who called the Gov "an idiot".
Texas and Mississippi lift mask mandates and say all businesses can open at 100% capacity, as health officials warn not to ease restrictions
Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced on Tuesday that the statewide mask mandate imposed eight months ago will be lifted on March 10, making Texas the largest state in the US to lift its mask mandate amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Texas businesses will also be able to operate at 100% capacity, including bars and restaurants. Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves made a similar announcement following the one from Abbott. The CDC and health officials still advise that people wear a mask and avoid crowds to reduce transmission of the virus.

#6  'Idiot' seems to be the common response.

Good news is, it isn't an order to remove masks, and masks work right?

I do appreciate the humor of everyone going after Abbott for opening in 10 days, when The Magnolia State is open for business today and is shit-catching free.

#5  Restrictions are lifted only if hospitalizations remain at manageable levels. Mask and other requirements may still be imposed by private businesses if they choose. I wonder if other states (like NY or CA) will impose restrictions on travelers coming from or through Texas?

#3  Media people from California, UK's Pinewood Studios, and elsewhere appeared to have assimilated and remain hard working conservatives.

Having failed to turn the state via immigration, the left successfully targeted Fulton County and the voting process.

#1  After the massive damage caused by extreme cold, the governor is wisely removing all restrictions so Texas can rebuild asap.
