| [KhaamaPress] Sayed Mohammad Sadat, head of NDS prosecutors’ office along with three others were reportedly killed in a kaboom near the provincial Police HQ in Lashkargah city of Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... Province. Helmand police front man Mohammad Zaman Hamdard confirmed the incident to the media but did not provide further details. On the other hand, a number of media outlets reported that the earth-shattering kaboom took place near the Helmand Police headquarters. According to reports eight people including a woman were also injured in the attack. No individual or group has grabbed credit for the attack. This comes as Hashim Hamdard, a tribal elder was killed in an IED blast in the Jangal Bagh area in PD7 of Jalalabad city in Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province. The incident happened at around 7:00 am on Saturday morning, local officials told the media. |
