| Opposition groups repel government forces' infiltration attempt in Syria's Latakia |

"The opposition groups managed to thwart an infiltration attempt by the government forces in al-Qal’a area in al-Turkmen Mountain, north Latakia," opposition military sources to North press. "Several members of the government forces were killed and maimed in the attack by the opposition groups, which succeeded in pushing them back to their positions," the sources added. "The opposition groups targeted gatherings of the government forces in Turkmen Mountain, with heavy artillery shells, leaving casualties," the sources noted. In Idlib, military sources told North Press that the opposition groups targeted the positions of the government forces in Tel Mardikh, southeast Idlib, with home-made high-explosive missiles, killing and wounding several members.
