Turkish forces leave several points in northwest Syria
2021-03-10
[NPASYRIA] On Monday, the Ottoman Turkish forces started to evacuate military points in the western countryside of Aleppo and redeploy in Zawiya Mountain area, south of Idlib, northwest Syria.

"For two days, the Ottoman Turkish forces have been working to evacuate their military points in the towns of Batbu, Ebbin, Sam’an and Kafr Naseh, west of Aleppo," military sources in the Syrian opposition told North Press.

"The Ottoman Turkish forces will withdraw from these points, which are considered non-essential, and redeploy in Zawiya Mountain area, in order to reinforce their points deployed on M4 Highway," the sources added.

"The task of these points, which The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

set up early last year in the region, has ended, as it was to stop the advancement of the Syrian government forces in the region," according to the source.

There are about 200 vehicles in the Ottoman Turkish military points, including tanks and artillery, in addition to dozens of Ottoman Turkish soldiers, according to sources.

It is reported that several months ago, the Ottoman Turkish forces started to withdraw from their besieged military points in Idlib, Aleppo and Hama, which were surrounded by the government forces during the last military campaign, and redeployed in Zawiya Mountain and Ghab Plain, west of Hama.
