UAW Slams Ford Motor Company over decision to move assembly plant to Mexico
2021-03-19
[LI] The United Auto Workers (UAW) told Ford employees at an Ohio plant the company wants to move production of a new line to Mexico instead of their Ohio Assembly Plant (OHAP).

Ford has not made its decision public, but the union insists it received "strategically limited information," and the situation is "rapidly evolving."

It’s weird (not really) this happens only a few months after President Donald Trump left office.

#9  That promise was made with the condition the democrats would not pulverize the economy to conduct a coup.

Maybe, Mr. Kariem, a certain amount of curiosity was needed in a certain state known for automobile manufacturing?

But I suppose getting paid well to failure is a comfortable, unimaginative life.

#8  ..I'm sure the cartels already have it covered. Sort of the Chicago mob vs the New York mob in earlier days.

#7  Can't we move the uaw to Mexico instead? Their little uaw symbol shows united workers around the world doesn't it? Maybe they can go down there and unite the mexican workers since the American ones don't have jobs anymore...

Seriously when we start paying $35,000+ for Pickup Truck. I find it harder and harder to support UAW wages.

$$$ ends back up in Union Bosses pockets then is funneled to Democrat Politicians.

#5  Good for Ford. Maybe the UAW needs to quit being the UAW. And it would probably mean better prices for consumers as well.

UAW - Remember you support the Democrats.
An they darn sure never attempted to rescind NAFTA the several times, when they had COMPLETE House/Senate and Oval control after it was pass.

Also remember one of the driving agenda points for passage was it would REDUCE Illegal Immigration.

Which the Democrat party has openly screwed over the US workers by opening the Illegal flood gates.
