| Turkish aircraft targets civilian vehicle in Sidakan, injuring two |

| [Rudaw] ERBIL, Kurdistan Region — Turkish warplanes targeted a civilian vehicle in northeastern Erbil province late on Friday, injuring two passengers, a local official and a border guard told Rudaw. A civilian vehicle carrying four passengers was targeted by the Turkish army in Sinin village in the Sidakan subdistrict near the border with Iran, Sidakan Mayor Ihsan Chalabi told Rudaw’s Bakhtiyar Qadir. The vehicle was a Toyota Hilux pickup. Two of the passengers were injured, according to an officer from the Iraqi border guard who spoke to Rudaw on condition of anonymity. More at the link |
