#1 Prior to the overthrow of Muamar Qadafi his son, the British educated Seif, was used to initiate talks with the government opposition. After his father’s murder he attempted to flee to Niger and was captured by rebels in November 2011. He was released from imprisonment in June 2017. He is still on the International Criminal Court wanted list for alleged war crimes and suspect crimes against humanity. |
