  • John Kingkade, 38, and his wife Krystal Kingkade, 37, were arrested in Columbia, South Carolina on Wednesday over the incident outside a Dollar Tree on April 10

  • They have each been charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of first-degree assault and battery

  • The victims, Bron Cornett and his girlfriend Elena Vawter, were both treated in hospital following the ordeal

  • The victims told authorities they were driving on Saturday night when the Kingkades cut them off at a red light in their Mercedes C-Class

  • They were allegedly assaulted after pulling into the Dollar Tree parking lot

Thanks for the pro tip; if I'm ever in a situation like that, I'll pull up to an HD camera near a light (if it's at night).
