#7  What I cannot understand is the all out war against faith, by people without any experience to motivate this hostility.

It's about power to impose one's will on others. People who asked for 'tolerance' before show they have none themselves. It was never about "live and let live".

#6  I can sympathize with an atheist who hates God because of some perceived injustice or Job like afflictions in their life. What I cannot understand is the all out war against faith, by people without any experience to motivate this hostility.

Has anybody noticed that in debates the channels will pit only flat earth Luddite types or know nothing papists against scientists? Makes the scientists look smarter than they are and denigrates all faith for making men boorish and silly.

I used to like that Hitchens guy beat up on islam and papists, but he too became a drag because of his incessant militant opposition to anyone being 'stupid enough to believe in a god'.

#5  Richard, come on over to the Christian side. We believe in redemption, forgiveness, and things like that.
