US envoy to UN meets UNRWA head, lauds critical role of agency and urges reforms |

[IsraelTimes] US Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield has wrapped up a meeting with United Nations ...the Oyster Bay money pit... Relief and Works Agency Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini, her office says. The two discussed the US decision to restore funding to the UN agency for Paleostinian refugees, with Thomas-Greenfield lauding the "critical role" in providing vital services to a vulnerable Paleostinian populations. The US envoy "also committed to working together with UNRWA to achieve important reforms to strengthen​ the agency’s effectiveness and efficiencies, as well as to promote shared UN principles of equality, neutrality, tolerance, and anti-discrimination," her office says. #1 For more than a half=century the UNRWA (and predecessors) have been skimming funds and promising reform. And for the same period of time USAID (and predecessors) have gone along with the sham. |
