Blast Targets Army Division in Parwan
2021-05-02
[ToloNews] Two army soldiers were killed and 25 more were maimed in a kaboom at an Afghan National Army division at Bagram Airfield, Parwan province, on Friday evening.

The army soldiers were busy in prayer when the earth-shattering kaboom happened.

The type of blast is not known so far, but sources said that the earth-shattering kaboom was due to a bomb that was already planted in the area.

Officials from ANA’s Division in Bagram meanwhile rejected the claim of casualties and said that 18 soldiers sustained minor injuries in the earth-shattering kaboom.
Khaama Press adds:
Abdul Wase Rahimi, security chief for Parwan police HQ said the incident took place at around 9:00 pm local time on Friday night.

Rahimi reported that all of the casualties in this incident are Afghan cops.

The incident has reportedly taken place in the 2nd brigade of the 1st battalion stationed at Bagram airport.
