US retaliates following rocket attacks on ‘Kandahar Airfield’
2021-05-03
[KhaamaPress] After a rocket attack on Kandahar Airfield on Saturday night, US forces responded back at the bully boys.

US forces front man Colonel Sonny Leggett said that American forces conducted a "precision strike this evening, destroying additional rockets aimed at the airfield".

"Ineffective indirect" rockets hit Kandahar airfield on Saturday afternoon but no injuries were inflicted to US personnel nor there were damages caused to materials and equipment in the airfield.

"A return to violence would be one senseless & tragic. But make no mistake, we have the military means to respond forcefully to any type of attacks against the coalition & the military means to support the Afghan cops. That would be a mistake to move in that direction" Sonny Leggett acknowledged General Scott Miller’s intention to protect foreign forces.

This comes as on Saturday Zabiullah Mujahid tweeted that US presence beyond the May 1st deadline is in violation of the Doha deal signed under Trump’s administration back in February 2020, he said the group deserves the right to carry out tasks against foreign forces.

"As withdrawal of foreign forces from Afghanistan by agreed-upon May 1st deadline has passed, this violation in principle has opened the way for IEA Mujahidin to take every counteraction it deems appropriate against the occupying forces," Mujahid stated.

"The Mujahidin of IEA (Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
) will now await what decision the leadership of Islamic Emirate takes in light of the illusory sovereignty, values and higher interests of the country, and will then take action accordingly, Allah willing," he tweeted.
