#3 the Turkish Lira has been in a long slump. official rate was about 2 Lira per dollar back in 2013 so buy imported figs (lots of fiber) |

#1 The fair value was “ lowered” not raised. If it takes 9.5 Turkish Lira to buy a dollar vs 7.5, the value of the Lira has dropped against the dollar., not increased. |
