(ISIS) during a security campaign in Sha’fah town, in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, a military source said.
The operation was carried out with the support of the US-led Global Coalition areal monitoring, the source added.
Asayish Special Unites managed to arrest "a prominent ISIS leader, who was active in recruiting sleeper cells, easing their work, and planning for liquidations," the source noted.
