- Sources tell DailyMail.com that 12 buses containing 725 children arrived from Texas on just one night shortly after the center opened in April
- The facility has been taking in minors as border officials in Texas struggle to cope with the influx in illegal crossings
- On Monday the White House released figures showing the number of migrant minors in Customs and Border Protection custody has dropped by 88%
- This comes after border officials nearly doubled the rate it processes children and transfers them to emergency shelters - but illegal crossings, however, have not slowed
- Exclusive DailyMail.com photos show girls being walked through a loading dock at the back of the convention center to use the showers
- Charity worker Nadine Toppozada says the shelter is keeping the girls safe until they can be returned to their families or united with sponsors in the US
- DailyMail.com also witnessed the ICE chartered flights arriving, with migrants unloaded from the plane and loaded onto three buses on every occasion
