[TOWNHALL] When it comes to earmarks, both parties are horrible. They’re now trying to call this pork "Congressionally Directed Spending" rather than earmarks, thinking it somehow sounds better. It kind of does, as long as you don’t think about it. The real problem isn’t whether Congress directs where the money is spent or some faceless bureaucrat does, it’s the spending in the first place.
Reminder: The purpose of politix is not to govern; it's to funnel money to 1.) relatives and 2.) donors.
Here are some examples of what Members of Congress think are important enough to spend our great-grandchildren’s money on (let’s be honest, our money, our kid’s money, and our grandkid’s money is already long gone at this point).

Representative Kathy Castor (D-Florida) earmarked $7.7 million for a street car project in Tampa, because it’s 1900 again, or something.

Before Wilson...
Most of the Federal Budget was funded by tariffs and alcohol taxes.
Senators were appointed by governors or the state house.
There was no federal income tax.
The Fed was just a gleam in the eye of some bankers. That implies most money was metal or Treasury Notes - not yet a Federal Reserve so no Fed Notes.
Other than Wyoming most places women didn't vote and most were not that educated.
Even the Klan wasn't marching in most streets.

Enter Wilson.
For some reason he wanted prohibition but that would require a new source of money. All of the need might require inexperienced voters (certainly not vested in the state ones like property owners) {not much different than illegal aliens or fake ballots voting} There was no way the current Senators would go with the changes...

So create the Fed.
Create Income Tax to replace the planned loss of booze tax.
Change senators to elected.
Change women into voters who would swoon over the democrats who "liberated" them...
For some reason let the Klan have huge rallies including massive pro-Wilson ones in D.C. - (Implying that he was the Confederate's Man?)
Outlaw booze.
Have a huge increase in democratic voters from all the under educated women that gave the Democratic party a win for the next 100 years!
Have a voter base with no stake in the country.

With Biden we see the same game plan in full swing today. Illegals HO!.. Pot and drugs Ho!
Voters with no stake in the country and no fears of whoring for their leaders.

And I'd wager that most Biden voters didn't expect him or his puppet masters to issue nearly a hundred EOs and then pass the most ridiculous spending bills we've ever seen -- way beyond the expectations of the most economically illiterate leftist.
