#17 #15 These are oftentimes the people one can trust. You fully know what they are up to. Posted by: Besoeker Concur that you may fully know what they are up to, but you can NEVER trust them... Regarding #16 Bullshit. Stop projecting. Posted by: Rob Crawford Well, I will "project" the following "bullshit" for your consideration... Flynn - a disgraced, ambitious democrat 3 star harboring a grudge for Obama and a fat paycheck in his back pocket from Edrogan humped on Trump's leg during the run up to the election in order use Trump to get back at Obama and expand his "consulting" portfolio after govmint service brought early disgrace and disarray to the administration...fired for lying to the VP. Scaramucci...oh my...in the dictionary a picture of Scaramucci is beside the words ambitious and sycophant Bolton...ditto above Powell...crazy ambitious sycophant are both pronouns and adjectives when referencing this person...associated with Rudy...but, I like Rudy |

#16 And that was Trump's problem...he preferred the ambitious sycophants who stroked his ego and whispered deep dark conspiracies in his ear. Bullshit. Stop projecting. |

#14 The aim was to root out 'deep state' opponents of Donald Trump from late 2017 That would require firing every Federal employee in the DC area. |

#13 First, the motivations on this very much targeted op are apparent. Look at who benefited when McMaster was replaced. John Bolton. And who had the biggest beef with the FBI at the time. Flynn. Bolton's attempt at privatization of the war in Afghanistan that followed benefited Prince. Logic points to Bolton/Prince/Flynn as co-conspirators or "birds of a feather." All of the above, save McMaster, were a bunch of amateurs and wannabes. And that was Trump's problem...he preferred the ambitious sycophants who stroked his ego and whispered deep dark conspiracies in his ear. |

#9 Hadn't McMaster already discredited himself by having an inappropriate affair or something like that? |

#7 /\ Yes, I too feel the goal was beyond simply the identification of disparagers. As the old saying goes..."there's got to be much more to this story." |

#6 If the goal was to record the FBI and State Dept disparaging Trump they merely had to watch and record CNN |

#5 ....Excellent article a week or two back on Instapundit by a gentleman who got caught up in the effort to smear Justice Kavanaugh - he cheerfully admitted that at first he thought he was being paranoid, but then realized that the situation he ran into was a classic honeypot intended to smear HIM because he wouldn't denounce Kavanaugh.
