IDF launches massive strike against Gaza, bombs Hamas chief's home
2021-05-16
But, of course, the Juice are to blame..
[JPost] A man was killed in the central city of Ramat Gan after Hamas fired a volley of close to 30 rockets at central Israel in a large barrage on Saturday afternoon.

Hamas rocket barrages on southern and central Israel continued throughout the day on Saturday with almost 300 projectiles flying toward Israel on the sixth day of fighting between the Israeli military and Hamas. Rocket sirens sounded in parts of the West Bank, in central and southern Israel and near Netanya on Saturday night, after Hamas threatened earlier in the night to put Tel Aviv in a "curfew" at midnight.

No injuries were reported due to direct hits or shrapnel in the barrage on Saturday night, although 10 people were injured while running to bomb shelters.

Shortly after the barrage of rockets, the IDF began a wave of airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, hitting over 150 targets, including the home and office of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, with a number of deaths and injuries reported, according to Palestinian media.

Hamas said it launched the barrage towards Tel Aviv in response to "the massacre of women and children at the Shati refugee camp."

The airstrike on the Shati refugee camp killed ten people including eight children. The IDF said that the strike was against an apartment that "serves as terror infrastructure" for Hamas. "The IDF takes precautions to minimize possible harm to civilians during its military activities," the statement added.

Other rockets fell in the Arab-Israeli town of Taibe and others near the West Bank cities of Ramallah and Tulkarem.
If Gazan rockets kill them, they go straight to Paradise as martyrs, right? So they should be grateful for the opportunity instead of whining about maiming and death and such.
Shrapnel also fell near the Safari in Ramat Gan.

#4  When jihadis die they go to hell. It’s as simple as that.

#3   voluntary and involuntary martyrs

There was this case of four mujahids entering our western border [through the Thar desert] a few years before the Kargil war. A BSF squad caught them, shot them in the legs and left them to crawl back across. They noticed they were trying to still limp and crawl forward. So they killed them and buried them in the desert.

Sometimes nomads will see men limping and dragging themselves making furrows in the sand. When they go near, the shapes are gone but the furrows remain. Interestingly, nomads say sometimes the spirit continues to appear even up close. In that case you beat at it with a stick and it fades. Thing is, the grunts had beaten them to death with sticks [because they have to account for every bullet].

Then there was the 24 year old jihadi guy, an engineering major in Bangalore, who was building bombs in his friend's apartment. He would mumble prayers while assembling the devices. He was offed by Karnataka police, in that same apartment. For months the tenants of the apartment next door heard him mumbling his prayers. Until the landlord had a big ritual exorcism of some sort.

Hearsay? I know. But nice to know.

#1  there are some differences between voluntary and involuntary martyrs in Islamic theology

it is complicated and there are differences of opinion

however, it is pretty clear that only the voluntary martyrs who are killed in battle defending Islam will be able to sit with the prophets in heaven

others will, however, receive rewards and perhaps more importantly, much less or even zero punishment in purgatory
