  • Rysheim Smith, 46, was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison on Monday

  • He was convicted by a jury in Manhattan Supreme Court in January 2020 over the brutal bludgeoning death of Zymere Perkins who died in September 2016

  • Zymere died after being waterboarded, savagely beaten and hung from a hook on the bathroom door by his t-shirt in Smith's Harlem apartment

  • The little boy's mother, Geraldine Perkins, 30, had already pleaded guilty to manslaughter as part of a deal to cooperate against her now-ex-boyfriend

  • The gruesome attack on the little boy left him with more than 30 fractured ribs

  • Zymere's autopsy showed that his entire body was covered in cuts, bruises and scars when he died

  • Pieces of a broken broomstick and steel shower curtain rod were just two of the items used to beat the little boy

#7  seeing the prayer bump and knowing how black moslems have a tendency to pervert an already perverted religion, i can't but help think this has some kind of religious angle to it.

like he justified the attack because the boy was gay or something of the sort. Something that offended his religious sensibilities. Which will of course be heartily avoided by the media.

So this Freaky POS (Rysheim Smith) will get to live out "IT's" remaining life at taxpayer expense?

Note: Back in the late 80's, I freaked out my Criminal Justice class Professor by suggesting that all Sentencing/Punishment should be related to the crime. As it would establish a baseline for punishment that the criminal could not argue as Cruel and Unusual having inflected it on others themselves.


Regarding how long in Prison question?
I'd say 2 to 3 years before he "hangs himself"
