| #3 the big difference between NYC and Moscow re Covid is that infections and fatalities in the former have significantly decreased in the past few months whereas in Moscow (and probably elsewhere in Russia) new infections and fatalities are remaining relatively high not only is the vaccinated share of the population higher in the US (by at least 3 times), the US vaccinations were done w Pfizer or Moderna and in Russia by Russian vaccines |

Population - 12,700,000 (2020 est) Infections - 1,234,717 infection rate 9.722% Deaths - 20,907 death rate IF Infected 1.69% deaths based on population - 0.164% of 1% ========================================= NYC 1 yr. 6 months of C-19/21 Population - 18,823,000 (2021 est) Infections - 952,210 infection rate - 5.058% Deaths - 29,170 death rate IF Infected - 3.063% deaths based on population - 0.154% of 1% ========================================== I'll let everyone draw their own conclusions. But keep in mind NYC is 32.52% bigger than MOSCOW in population. |
