#13 He also invented Global Warming. The man is like a god. OK, an annoying and stupid god, but nevertheless, may bees pee upon him. |

#11 The powers-that-be in the US have been trying to neuter the US internet for the past twenty-seven years or so. |

#10 Disconnecting his country from the Internet is certainly something an evil dictator would do, likely whilst stroking his white Persian cat. But it is also something you might want to do if your country was under a persistent global Denial of Service attack. |

#9 It seems every week another batch of the net gets "oops, hacked" and it's like the old Far Side cartoon about Turbulence. |

#8 Russia just want to ensure they have a working internet should the finicky American establishment and the Europeans decide to somehow deny it to them. As for free speech for dissenters and 'oh-the democracy!' globalist agents, they deserve none. Trust the EU media to dress even that up as a human rights violation. I'll bet they all laughed when DJT was blocked on twitter. Hypocrites. |

#6 When I was a kid in SovU in 1960es, most people listened to radio free Europe - Soviet authorities couldn't block it. And Vlad is going to block Internet? |

#5 A big problem with StarLink right now is their user stations (subscriber units) need too many Gallium Arsenide chips. I suspect that is one reason their active trial user count is around 60,000. This means in parts alone the subscriber units, that are sold for about $500, actually have closer to more than $2000 in chips in them. Can devices with GA chips even be sold to people in Cuba or Russia without violating some US law? |

#4 StarLink is not cheap and not easy to subscirbe to if you're Cuban. |
