#2 It should be noted that Hobby Lobby's involvement was in NO WAY Illegal or criminal and they acted in good faith based on seller documentation. Plus it was purchased for private use but for public display in a National museum located in Washington DC. Given the long history of the artifact and it numerous PUBLIC auctions, I find it strange that all of a sudden it is seized and claimed stolen? I guess having a Museum in DC based on Biblical era items must have upset some people in the DOJ/Congress? |
