| #7 The government will take over the properties for tax foreclosures, then the tenants will discover what a real absentee landlord is like. Anyone who lived on base housing, circa 1940s wood, in the 70s, knows that the biggest slum lord in America was the government. |

| #4 More than 15 million people live in households that owe as much as $20 billion to their landlords, according to the Aspen Institute. As of July 5, roughly 3.6 million people in the U.S. said they faced eviction in the next two months, according to the U.S. Census Bureau's Household Pulse Survey. These are wild-ass guesses. The actual number of renters who can't pay their rent/arrears is unknown as is the number of landlords who are facing foreclosure because (without rent income) they are unable to make their mortgage and real estate tax payments and so face losing their properties altogether to lenders and real estate tax authorities. The actual problem has not even partially been faced by our "Top Men". |
