#5  In the society that bested them, they'd be on the hook for blood money to over 300 people's families. In America, they are "sovreignly immune" from the consequences of their incompetence.

#4  He's in the same boat as the airport security officers at Boston on 9/11. It was an easy job as to be called Retired on Active Duty, just doing your time. No seriousness beyond when's the next coffee break. More ceremonial than functional. Then one day, the fundamental reason the position existed came home. That's when you discovered he were wanting. The people who assigned you to the job also considered it the same. They too were wanting.

Fortunately, today, you have lots of company. The senior members of our military join you in failing at their fundamental jobs. A very large ROADie community.

#3  Scot, sometimes you best is not good enough. Sometimes that's OK. Other times, not so much. Thinking St. Fauxi in the latter category with his creepy virus experiments.

#2  Nikolas Cruz was adopted. Not to say that his adoptive home worked out so well for him or others...

#1  You should face a firing squad promptly after your third conviction. Just saying.
