| #6 So true, the word from the frontline door smashers. Very moving too, that bit about being needed again, if a little sad. I doubt men like Austin and Biden's loon troupe will ever let America retain its effective deterrence. But worse than that America has a regime problem and needs to focus on the domestic. |

| #1 I agree with most points made in the article except the false dichotomy between masochistic submission and genocide of the enemy. There were many options available (both miltary and political) that would have restored Western deterrence by being sufficiently punitive well short of being genocidal. |
