| #3 Dane County is primarily Madison, Wisconsin ("90 square miles surrounded by Reality, where 'Common Sense' goes to die") along with rural 'bedroom communities' (where the liberals with more money live) and a few actual agricultural areas in the west part of the county. The Sheriff is probably not trying to be a pansy, he's just a product of the system. |

| #2 The whole purpose of jails was an alternative to offing sociopaths. Jail was never to be an issue of dignity. For those not yet convicted, fine Sheriff. Those convicted are not entitled to dignity. Their victims were. |
