According to Italian media, the unidentified suspect maimed ticket controllers on a bus, escaped, and maimed two other women including a six-year-old child in the tourist town of Rimini
The suspect, 26, has been living in Europa

In a statement, Italia’s Interior minister Luciana Lamorgese called the reported incident "extremely serious," adding that she would attend a security meeting in Rimini on Monday, according to Rooters.
The incident led to far-right League party leader Matteo Salvini to criticize Lamorgese’s comments, adding that he’s been pressing the foreign minister to adopt stricter immigration policies in the region.

The man, who apparently didn’t have a bus ticket, slashed the controllers who had asked to see his ticket, leaving the two women maimed, news reports said. When the bus driver opened the door, the attacker fled. As police gave chase, the man allegedly slashed three more persons along his path. They included a 6-year-old boy who was sitting with his mother in a local outdoor market.
The boy was at death's door on Sunday after surgery for his wounds, including on his neck.
Police arrested the man after catching up with him on a side street flanking a hotel.
