Snezhnoye is about 40 miles due east of Donetsk city.
Recall that the search group of the interdepartmental commission has been exploring this location since August 18. During this time, the remains of 28 people were discovered and raised to the surface. They were sent to the Republican Bureau of the SME for conducting forensic investigations, ”the office said.
They added that in parallel, work is underway to identify the relatives of the victims.
"This is important for further identification of the victims. But it is already obvious that we are talking about civilians, as evidenced by the surviving items of civilian clothing," the office stressed.
The exhumation on the territory of the Snezhnyanskoye cemetery will continue.
