The national aviation administration of Afghanistan announced that the airport is operational 12 hours a day mainly from 6 am to 6 pm.
Officials in the administration have said that the first commercial international flight took off from the airport to Islamabad on Sunday, September 19 and they are to be continued.
They pledged that they are still trying hard to prepare the airport for flights by night.
The administration has asked UAE, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and other countries to resume flights to Kabul but they have only gotten a green signal from Pakistain and Iran
