#6 ^ It's pretty rich for a "president" who works a 24-minute day to order everyone else to work 24-hour days. |

#5 Read a report last night that stated the administration was set to order the LA/Long Beach port to a 24 hour a day operation to unload the 60- something ships waiting. No mention of any ground-based increase in getting the boxes moved so chokepoint moves from the water to the land. Increased congestion will cause more delay due to multiple handling of containers. Also in the works will be a system of fines for truckers that fail to meet their gate times. With the pack of clowns in the White House, what could go wrong? |

#4 Couple of weeks ago same thing happened on the west coast. Satellite image shows more than SIXTY container ships waiting to dock at jammed LA port: US supply chain crunch forces FedEx to reroute 600K packages a day and Costco to limit purchases of toilet paper, cleaning products and water |

#3 Couple of weeks ago same thing happened on the west coast. Two weeks no rail traffic. Local major hub (east coast) inactive. Now rail traffic booming. 20 new hires for local railroad with 10 more soon to be added. I guess they didn't coordinate well. Same people blamed, lazy humans. AI here we come. FED EX driver less vehicles being tested now. Look at all the vacation time. No more long work hours. No more work. Dumb down humanity. |

#1 Strange - I haven't heard about any such backups in Boston or even Fall River / New Bedford, all about a day away from NYC ports. |
