#3  The only way that they'll stop eating dogs is if you remove the dogs. It's an access thing.
So, next SoKorean export: dogs. To: NK (they'll scream and take it), China (they supposedly eat bats), and Vietnam (have you ever had dog and rice? I have.)

#2  ...I spent a wonderful year in Korea (84-85) and at that time, they were ramping up for the '88 Olympics in Seoul. By that point, kagogi was mostly a rural thing but it was still easy enough to find, and the government was concerned about tourists finding it. There were billboards everywhere gently suggesting that it was time to end the practice...but since we're discussing this thirty-three years later, I'm going to assume they didn't work.
