[Sputnik] A rehearsal for the Sunsuper Riverfire air show took place on 23 September in Brisbane, Australia. A Boeing C-17A Globemaster III strategic aircraft of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) flew between skyscrapers and office buildings at a breathtakingly low altitude of about 300 feet. New footage of the Tuesday flight appeared on YouTube on Wednesday, depicting an incredible view from the pilot’s cabin. |

#3 When I was a teen, two military jets -- Tomcats, from memory -- flew over our house at treetop level. That is not an exaggeration -- one had to pull up a little to clear a stand of persimmon trees behind the house. I wasn't butthurt -- I was curious as to what had them in such a hurry. |

#2 Not what I would call a smart demo... But it did get a lot of Worldwide attention. Plus it could allow certain government types to see if the data could be used for other reasons (offensive and defensive). |
