| #2 Warships with one gun, and an automated one, just seem to be planned for failure. As long as it works and systems are optimal great, but redundancy just seems to make sense, as does a fully manual mode as a final backup. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5-inch/38-caliber_gun |
