#9  If they want to fire you, they'll find a reason.

#8  The emails were discovered in a workplace misconduct investigation into the Washington Football Team (WFT) but ended up costing Gruden his job when they also showed him complaining about the drafting of a gay player and tolerance for those protesting racism by kneeling during the national anthem. Hi (SIC) brother, Jay, was previously the head coach of the WTF (ok I did that one), but the younger Gruden is not believed to be involved with any of the reported emails.

#6  We were taught in that you never place anything in email or any postings which you don't want splashed across the New York Times front page.
They will mis-interpret and/or creatively edit it to fi their narrative.

#5  Everyone with any brains learned in the 90s that you never put anything into an email/text that you wouldn't want your mom and boss to see.

#3  He was fired because they found these additional e-mails yesterday. I thought he was gonna hang on with just the one-off mail but a bunch are just too much for them.

The sports wags on ESPN were insufferably self-righteous about the whole thing, of course.
