#27 My tag-removing days are long since over, but they used to say Do Not Remove Under Penalty of Law. A vague and ominous threat of the power of the State, but also a virtual invitation to rebellious youth. |

#26 re #23: Glenmore, IIRC, the tag says not to be removed except by the consumer. |

#24 If you hate Amerikkka, you can't very well erase it from the map. The next best approach is to turn it into a foreign country. |

#23 How long before the IRS inspects people's mattresses? And what happens wen they find out it doesn't have a tag anymore? |

#22 Natural Gas in my GA Zip code went from $0.51 to $0.79 per therm. A 54.90% increase and SSA COLA is something like 5.61%. So how do they figure the COLA? Because it does not seem to be based on my Food, Gas and Utilities inflated costs. |

#21 My propane went from $1.55 to $2.50 a gallon. I will survive as I will shoot a deer and turn her into jerky to make up for meat cost rises. I also can veggies but and I still have a 200’ lbs of ground oats. I feel sorry for the country as a whole. |

#18 skid, the increase in SSI is automatic, Biden has no direct involvement, you could argue that by virtue of his policy the inflation is an indirect cause of the increase but there are actually some other causes, e.g. the world wide pandemic |

#11 Yes, I hear that toilet paper is once again in short supply. Well, I guess that's when you learn the true value of your local newspaper. |

#10 Back To The Future! FDR was right. Gov't rationing boards, ration books, stamps, synthetic rubber tires, limits on sugar, beef, gasoline, suspend auto and truck production (except for electrics). Equity must be achieved at any cost. (sarc off) |

#9 Anyone in super markets can see the empty Food spaces on shelves and price increases over the last few months. FWIW, I dropped $188 at the grocery store yesterday; 3 1/2 lbs. of red meat by itself was $63.80. |

#7 ALSO If there will be shortages in the USA... WHY the OPEN BORDERS bringing in Millions more mouths? Personally, we have been buying extra Can foods with BB dates into 2023+ since the start of the year. Plus, I am sure. I am not the only one in my immediate area doing so either. |

#6 Anyone in super markets can see the empty Food spaces on shelves and price increases over the last few months. But why the supply bottle neck now and not in 2020? Is the goal to the BIG Government come to the rescue by taking more control of the FREE MARKET? Just before the 2022 election cycle? |
