Foods Items That Can Kill COVID-19 Causing Virus?
2021-10-23
[India] Coronavirus Update: Every other day we hear some surprising discovery about the COVID-19 causing virus and its impacts. Researchers all around the globe are trying to find a way to contain the deadly virus. In a bid to do so, scientists at the Institute of Molecular Virology, Ulm University Medical Center, Technische Universität Dresden, and CogniVerde GmbH conducted an interesting study. They tried to find out if certain food items can kill SARS-CoV-2.

Luckily, the study results came positive. The study team found that pomegranate juice, green tea, and chokeberry are capable of killing COVID-19 causing virus. During the study, researchers put the virus in and elderberry juice and the above-mentioned herbal beverages and incubated them at room temperature.

Soon after that, the scientists found that chokeberry juice inactivated around 97 per cent of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in just 5 minutes. On the other hand, pomegranate juice, and green tea killed approximately 80 per cent of the novel coronavirus. Notably, elderberry juice did not show any positive result on the deadly pathogen.

Researchers conducted the same test with the swine flu virus and the findings revealed that all 4 herbal drinks can inactivate over 99 per cent of the swine flu virus in hardly 5 minutes.

This novel study is quite helpful for all of us when it comes to preventing the fatal infection. All you can do is to gargle or rinse your mouth with green tea daily or consume it along with other juices mentioned above. Take enough precautions and keep yourself safe.
Considering India's Control of the ChiCom virus I'm not going to poo poo this. Researching other options is what happens when Big Pharma doesn't own all of your government.

#13  Ah, and my aperitif of choice vodka and tonic. Extra lime. Quality tonic, not that sugared shit.

Healthy eating. Physical exercise. Appropriate precautions like not picking nose, licking money, and since a no mask culture treating those with a mask respectfully figuring they had it on for good reason.

Results: recently did a stunt where the entire family came down with a bad case of sniffles and head cold for a week. I was slightly affected, and only for about 12 hours, which included an overnight is a 'sweat tent' to keep body temperature up, and lots of fluids, pint of water every time I woke up, and that salty sports drink watered down every time it got to half for about 6 rounds instead of morning coffee, then coffee for the hot drink and caffeine, then another stint with the sports drink, plus a vit C bomb. I'll tell ya, lost a pound of mucus and couldn't get out of view of a lavatory which was well worth the effort, knock on my head.

#12  Now to be a bit more scientific, people who were confirmed with the covid and what they did, they were in that danger bloc: age, previous health concerns, and depending on who you talk to, male.

Their regime will not be a surprised to those here. In addition to their regular daily vitamin supplement, an additional B12, D, and Zinc. And then, 3000 Vitamin C. I confirmed that number and asked him how he didn't turn into an orange.

It has been difficult, locally, for people here to talk about that. There is a sort of shame on getting it and takes them a bit to share.

#11  ^plus its easy and quick. Last time I started sauce and pasta at the same time and finished the sauce first, but that is with a lot of practice because it works. If I were feeling only soupy and had it available, a really kickin' Tom Yum Gai.

Now, the Wife's Tale. First born was only born, and still a quadruped. Something just hammers me now, like tied to a chair underneath roosting crows bad. Wife is like, I have some culture tricks too, and I'm not taking care of two babies, so she makes onion tea. Best I can tell, she chopped up an onion real neat and steeped it. I think she did it on the stove because it was still hot when I got it. Strained the water into mug and added honey; we are lucky to have local stuff. Drink, she says.

Spent the next 20 minutes trying to find things strong enough to take the evacuation without sanding off my nose and upper lip.

#10  What about Brats?
This is my go-to when someone in the house gets sick.

With the sourest kraut and the spiciest mustard you can find, that stuff that makes you snot for ten minutes. Refresh with real beer. Retire to the study for your aperitif of choice.

Kielbasa is good with the garlic.

Then I have a pasta sauce for the sick-os. Starts with a coating of xv olive oil, good quality. Add a generous amount of minced garlic, like three cloves at least. On low heat, infuse the oil with the garlic - don't burn. Add one jar pasta sauce, the less salt and sugar the better. Add one can drained diced tomatoes. Do your normal pasta seasoning (no salting) but go stupid with oregano and if you can take it, rosemary (use a steeper if you have one or cheesecloth so the bits can be removed instead of eating around/eating them), and a shake of red pepper in addition to black pepper. Add chopped carrots, then purple cabbage, cooking until softer but still firm. Towards the end add a can (that nice brand is in a clear jar) of drained marinated artichoke hearts, less processed the better.

Pasta. Salt the water heavily. Choose a noodle like penne which is easy to eat. Drain at the earliest sign of al dente (the hot sauce will finish it). Toss in butter and garlic salt (why we didn't add salt to the sauce). Prego.

Oh, but Kansas, you forgot to add a magic troll stirring it in a cauldron. Check out those ingredients - Vit. C from the tomatoes. Garlic, pepper, and herb seasonings to get the lungs going. Extra liquid and the oils/butter for dealing with the bowels, either keeping them going or flushing the system. That salt especially if The Sweats. Carbs and veggies. Plus, it tastes good, so we keep morale up.

#8  Covid starts in your throat. Gains a foothold and works from there. My dayly antiviral is a nice cask strength bourbon. alc % high enough to be a sanitizer and kill viruses. Sip and allow the disinfectant to work slowly. Repeat as necessary.

#4  Don't know about the chokeberries, but preliminary results from my experiments with Jameson Black Barrel, goat milk, and Blue Mountain coffee are encouraging.

(Not an endorsement - only a periodic JAB augmentation)

#3  Is one also supposed to spray chokeberry juice up your nose, and inhale it as a mist? Or does it suffice to rub it on your left big toe while chanting?

#2  Most any liquid that's astringent (i.e. moderately acidic) will kill viruses, but that doesn't lead to any practical application.
Or should we soak our face diapers in vinegar (acetic acid) and breathe through them, ignoring damage to your airway tissues? Asking for a really stupid friend.

#1  So every night draw a bath of Chokeberry Juice
$1.87/Fl Oz x 30 gallons x 128oz = $7,180.80
While drinking 6oz of Green Tea $.08 per oz.= $0.48
☺

All Joking aside:
How is this applicable?
