| Woman Killed in Hit-And-Run by Islamic Emirate Vehicle: Family |

| [ToloNews] One woman died and another woman was maimed after they were hit by a vehicle associated with Islamic Emirate forces in PD 5 of Kabul city, family members of the slain woman claimed on Thursday. The victims’ families called on officials to hold the perpetrators accountable. According to the family, the accident occurred on Wednesday. "We want the government to arrest the criminal. We know he didn’t intend to kill (my mother) but it is shameful to hit someone with a car and leave them on the street," said the son of the victim. "An accident took place. When I came out of the shop, I saw two women lying on the street. One of them died and another was maimed" said Ramiz, witness. "We call on the Islamic Emirate to find the perpetrators via cameras and bring them to justice soon," said Naveedullah, a relative of the victim. But the Ministry of Interior said that the case is under investigation. "Unfortunately, they succeeded in escaping but efforts are underway to find the perpetrators via cameras and hold them accountable," said Sayed Khosti, a front man for the Interior Ministry. |
