America's oldest gun-maker Remington moves its headquarters from upstate New York to gun-friendly Georgia in $100M, 856-job deal - six weeks after Smith & Wesson moved from Massachusettes to Tennessee
2021-11-09
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Remington Firearms is moving its headquarters from Ilion, New York, to Georgia, where it will open a factory and research operation

  • The company plans to invest $100 million in the operation in LaGrange, southwest of Atlanta, and intends to hire 856 people during a five-year period

  • It was not immediately clear what effect the transfer would have on Remington's operations in New York and Tennessee

  • The news came shortly after famed gunmaker Smith & Wesson announced it will leave its historic 165-year-old headquarters in Massachusetts for Tennessee

#3  Win-win - The Soviet of Massachusetts gets rid of an unwoke taint and Remington gains the elbow room to continue to screw up.

BTW- When will MA offer reparations to everyone "triggered" by the state's tolerating an evil gun company for over 150 yrs.

We have all see the Liberal States increasing assault on Gun Rights.

These Liberal States are even banning common civilian owned firearms and demanding the registration of all ammo.

So it simply makes good business sense to move to states with citizens that seriously support their business and use of their products.
