#3 I've said for a while that part of the problem here is that there is little or no risk whatsoever for rioters here in the West. Since 1945 for literally 99.999% of these people, the worst thing they face is a whiff of tear gas or maybe an uncomfortable night or two in jail. If they knew - knew - that there was a better than even chance of not going home completely intact, or at all, peaceful protest might make a sudden comeback. I'll bet you the J6ers know that. |

#1 ...I'm hoping that this lady and her counsel have a solid handle on how a Queens jury would vote. If they do, then a not guilty verdict could go a long way towards convincing people that this sort of thing isn't the cosplay-revolutionary fun that some think it is.
